Get to Know Kip

  • Your clients already value and trust you—lean into that. I remind professionals that their work isn’t just transactional; it’s a cornerstone of their clients’ success. Focusing on those relationships builds confidence and opens doors to growth. It’s about seeing the bigger impact you have and using it to fuel your BD efforts.

  • Coaching lets me draw on decades of experience to share stories, strategies, and insights that resonate. I love working closely with people and firms, celebrating their wins—big and small. Helping someone see their potential and turn it into action is incredibly satisfying, and it keeps me energized every day.

  • I get to know you—your goals, your challenges, even the human stuff that gets in the way. There’s no secret sauce; it’s about a systematic process tailored to you. I’m empathetic because I face similar hurdles, so we work together to find small, tactical steps that build confidence and create a pipeline that serves you for the long haul.

  • Every goal needs a roadmap. Whether it’s for an individual, a practice group, or an entire firm, I start by understanding where you are and where you want to go. For one Los Angeles firm, we spent four years turning their growth vision into reality through partner and client interviews, market research, and a clear implementation plan. They’ve hit major milestones, and we still meet regularly to keep the momentum going. It’s about building a plan and making it happen.

  • Client feedback is like a compass for growth. I worked with a firm worried about their pricing model, and through client interviews, we learned they were delivering high value—sometimes more than competitors charging higher rates. That insight gave them the confidence to adjust pricing without pushback, boosting profitability. Feedback uncovers opportunities and strengthens relationships, making it a must for any firm.

  • One firm I’ve worked with for years started with a strategic planning project to grow their size and scope. We interviewed partners and clients, researched their market, and built a plan with clear implementation steps. The key was accountability—assigning ownership and tracking progress. They’ve achieved major goals and continue to evolve, which is thrilling to see. It’s proof that a solid plan, paired with action, delivers.

  • Living in Southern California with my wife, I’m adjusting to life as an empty nester now that our son’s off to college. We love gardening, tackling home improvement projects, and planning our next travel adventure. Those moments of creativity and exploration recharge me for the work I do with clients.
